We are a consulting firm with experienced consultants and a long project track record.

Our firm was founded on November 15, 2008 on a mountain top. The company name stands not only for the founding month, but also as metaphor for:

  • The month of the storms - no leaf on the tree is taboo
  • Insight - we bring light, also into the dull and sad November days
  • Change - the ninth month (lat. novem = nine) which became the eleventh
  • Results – these can be celebrated best with a "Porte de Novembre" from Robert Gilliard in Sion, one of the best Johannisberg wines

Stephen Rietiker


Stephen Rietiker is a Senior Management Consultant who successfully consulted national and international clients mostly in the financial sector for PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM Business Consulting Services, both global Management Consulting firms. Apart from his focus on effective and sustainable strategy implementation, the main topics were IT management and the management of complex transformations. On top of that, Stephen is the author of the highly respected book "the ninth key" in which he describes ways how organizations achieve a project conscious management. Stephen is a former member of the executive board of the Swiss Project Management Assocation (spm).

  • Lead for PMO set-up, recruiting and coaching of internal PMO lead and handover of PMO in a IT solution strategy implementation program for a global logistics provider
  • Managing a cooperation program of two major state banks

Patrick Borel is an experienced management consultant with broad industry knowledge. He successfully delivered national and international client projects. Over 20 years he built his experience in business management and IT with emphasis in CRM/client data analysis. Key to his success are excellent analytical skills, his ability to abstract complex situations and an integrative personality. Matthias Otterbach

Matthias Otterbach has many years of experience in sales and project management. Founding, building and managing Delta Energy Solution AG in Basel and successful accomplishment of Sales and Key Account targets in other companies shaped him sustainably.
The outspoken eagerness to implement new ideas and the desire for making the difference is Matthias Otterbach's motivation. Caring about customer satisfaction and having fun working in projects was a good combination over the last 25 years.

Guy Barrenechea

Guy delivered results in organizational redesign, quality improvement and cost savings programs, was member of executive committees in mid to large sized international companies. He managed different business cycles, growth, consolidation, restructuring ad is experienced in optimizing cost and service with external suppliers. His main industry experience is in Retail, Logistics, Financial Services.

He has extensive experience in safety, audit and risk management. He became an expert in Data-Warehouse and Business Intelligence framework implementations over the past 17 years. He has international experience with multi-cultural teams in Australasia, Middle East and Europe.
